General Cleaner/ Room Attendant (on call)

Max Brown Museum Square is situated in four typical Amsterdam townhouses in the Jan Luykenstraat. This largely residential neighborhood distinguishes itself with beautiful tree-lined streets and gorgeous 19th-century architecture. There is no place in Amsterdam where you will find an area with so much style and allure. This beautiful and alluring area is the place to be for all lovers of art and history. Not only is The Museum Quarter (the neighborhood around Museum Square) famous for its impressive collection of museums & galleries, but it’s also a bursting forth with shops, cafes, bars & restaurants everywhere.



Requirements

In the position of General Cleaner / Room Attendant you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all public areas like reception, bar, breakfast room, storage spaces and the office to a very high standard. You will also be responsible for the corridors, staircases, toilets, outside areas and for the transport of clean and dirty linen and garbage of the guest rooms. Although cleaning rooms is not your main priority, there might be situations that you will have to clean some rooms. Also there might be special projects and/or deep-cleaning tasks. You are a valuable asset to the team of Max Brown Museum Square as you support the mission of delivering the best service possible. 


  • You have great eye for detail and excellent guest service skills;
  • You have affinity with the Hotel industry;
  • You will be working at least 2 days a week, shifts will be 6,5 hours and mostly during the day, including weekend, but you are flexible and willing to work different shifts when necessary;
  • You have relevant experience;
  • You are flexible and passionate;
  • You have great communication skills in English and/or Dutch;
  • You have passion for quality and style;
  • You love learning new things and you enjoy guests’ satisfaction.
